Reasons to Lose

Overall your heart health will improve.  You will feel better and have more energy.  Lowering your weight minimizes stress and strain on your joints and lower back.  This can improve arthritis and reduce lower back pain.  Better breathing can result from weight loss which will improve your sleep and eliminate sleep apnea.  Certain cancers are associated with being overweight, including breast and colon cancer.  Losing weight can help reduce your risks.
